About Skye

work of heart photo

Skye Hardwick Edmonds is the emotive childhood photographer behind Work of Heart Photography™ and founder of Grow Girls™, coming winter 2021. She has taught 40+ photography workshops around the country since 2007.

She believes photography is about more than the relationship between light and shadows — there is an undeniable heart-connection between an artist, the subject and their images. This connection is essential to create images that are authentic and awe-inspiring.

Skye is also a trauma-informed lifestyle architect, most commonly known as a life coach.

Specializing in helping dreamers (like you) get clarity and focus in their lives so that they stop wasting time and money on things that are unnecessary distractions and addictions.

She stands for unapologetic healing, freedom to design your life, and limitless potential to be/do/have whatever you desire.

Known as the children’s photographer who drags vintage furniture outdoors for sessions; Skye wholeheartedly believes an old building, complete with peeling paint, will make the perfect backdrop for a portrait.

She resides in the ever-sunny Southern California with her husband and son. She's a homeschooling mom with a heart for God and the countryside. You can often find her out with her chickens, listening to 90's Mariah Carey or helping artists by teaching them self-love + inner-healing.
